Travel
by Train:
There are different
possibilities to get to Romania by train, we do encourage
to book a place within a sleeping car since the journey
can take thirty (30) hours. Final destination is Rupea which
is only about 10 km (=7 miles) from Dacia /Stein. If Rupea
is unknown by the railway company, book a ticket to Brasov.
The train normally stops in Rupea since it is on the way
to Brasov. However, If the train does not stop in Rupea,
you can take a regional train or Bus back to Rupea. On demand,
we can pick you up by car from Rupea Gara (Railway station).
For those who know the region, or adventurous people, can
also take the bus from Rupea to Dacia/Stein, or go by foot
(6 Km (=4 Miles)), or Hitch-Hike, which is common in Romania
(make sure you have 1 Lei ready).

cheapest fares are mostly offered by Austrian Airlines and

way to get to Romania is by car. You are mobile and independent

inform yourself in the internet on the dangers of travelling
to East-European countries and just respect the common rules

impression that more thefts occurred in Germany as in Romania.
